Jay Franklin

Staff Coach, Fusion FC

Jay Franklin played soccer through high school before deciding to pursue an academic career. With more than 10 years of soccer coaching experience, Franklin has worked with youths from the U15 down to the U6 age groups.

In 2010, Franklin was awarded the NSCAA National Diploma and currently holds a USSF D and National Youth license.

He has coached with Fusion FC since its inception and is committed to the Fusion FC vision for player development.  Toward that end, he stresses technical skill and possession during training sessions.   Franklin very much believes and supports the overall goal for the Fusion FC to develop individual technical capability and creativity to allow players to have confidence on the ball during high pressure competitive game situations.
