Kevin Mooney
Kevin Mooney grew up playing soccer in Bristol, TN. He attended Tennessee High School where he was coached by Jim Butcher. He went to Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, TN where he played college soccer. Kevin played foward, left back and left midfield for Coach Stephen Jones and Allen Vital.
Since graduating college, he has been helping coach soccer at Tennessee High. Kevin has been an assistant coach for the boys’ and girls’ programs since 1999. He became the head coach for the THS girls’ team in 2007 and has been leading the Lady Vikings since. In the spring of 2011, he gave up working with the THS boys’ team to help coach girls’ U11 and U13 for Fusion along with coaching recreational soccer in Bristol.
Kevin has his USSF D licsense and NSCAA High School Coaches Diploma. He has been math teacher at Tennessee High School since Spring of 2003.
