Micah Ridley


Micah Ridley came to the Tri-Cities area in the summer of 2007 to play soccer at Milligan College in Johnson City, Tennessee.  Micah left Bradford, Pennsylvania where he played with the Erie Admirals winning the National Indoor Championship in 2005 and were Regional Finalists in 2006.  Along with playing for the Admirals Micah also played with PA West ODP team for three years.  His High School Career consisted of being a 4-year starter goalkeeper, 3 year Captain, 3-time all-conference and 2 time Defensive MVP.

While at Milligan Micah played 2 years as a Goalkeeper and also trained with the Cleveland Internationals PDL team in Ohio, before he started his coaching career as an assistant coach at the high school level spring of his sophomore year with David Crockett High School Boys team.  After coaching at the High school level for 2 years (both boys and girls) he then moved on and was hired as the Milligan College Women’s Assistant Coach under Lisa Buckley for the 2010-2011 season and will continue as an Assistant coach for the upcoming 2011-2012 season.

In 2008 Micah Earned his Advanced Regional diploma and in 2009 his Regional Goalkeeping Diploma.  In 2010 Micah received his National Diploma as well as his National Goalkeeping Diploma.

Micah has been with the club since 2009.  He was brought in as an assistant coach with the u-16/17 girls and as an assistant goalkeeper coach.  He is now carrying out the role of Head Goalkeeper Coach as well as assistant coach for the U15/16 girls.
